Our team has been living and working in the tourism sector on the Canary Islands for over thirty years.
Alongside all of our team we are very happy to be able to keep sharing the fantastic flowers, plants and other treasures that this island has to offer with our clients and friends.
As for our company, we promote the engagement of our client with nature. Our hikes aren't only about taking a walk through a trail, but to experience with all your senses the magic of nature. You'll be able to see, smell, taste and feel the uniqueness of Gran Canaria.
But for us, the most important feature that we can provide is our customer service. We've made it our goal to always satisfy our customer wishes, bringing them to the most beautiful areas of our island, showing them the most impressive landscapes, flowers, plants and impressions, while always keeping the fun as the main focus of our tours.
Tuesday - Roque Nublo
The symbol of Gran Canaria, a mystical place used in ancient times for spiritual gatherings.
Our hike begins on the western side of Roque Nublo with breathtaking views of the neighboring island of Tenerife and Teide, at 3718 m Spain's highest mountain.
Along an ancient "camino real" that we hike up, grow a variety of herbs and medicinal plants, which we explain in detail. We'll also get to see a 360º view of our island, with a spectacular view over the huge crater of Tejeda. After a small ascent, we'll arrive at the 1750 m high plateau below the Roque Nublo: with 68 m, a monolith which has always been the unique symbol of the island.
You can feel the absolute uniqueness of this place. After our picnic, we continue our descent to finish at the village of Ayacata.

Wednesday - Kestrel Canyon
Into the lush volcano landscapes to see the fertility of the real Gran Canaria
Our tour starts in the remote north-east of Gran Canaria.
This volcanic themed location has specific minerals found in the lava which support rare forms of vegetation. A small stream flows down the valley all year around and in the rainy season reforms the landscape and sustains the jungle-like vegetation with the humidity and moisture it needs.
One of the highlights is, of course, the possibility to spot a lot of Kestrels, such as Hawks or Buzzards. This is due to the fact that they have a lot of "food" in that valley, which translates into small rabbits and, their main course, lizards, which can be fed by hand! We've started calling this tour the "Mini-Jurassic Park-Tour".
When we reach our picnic spot, if you're not too hungry and are able to share a tiny piece of your sandwich with them, you'll even be able to feed the lizards by hand!

Due to the demand, we sometimes also offer a third tour, done on Fridays. Please, feel free to inquire at the reception or contact us directly.
The difficulty levels that are listed in the specifications of each tour refer to the following:
Level 1: Easy
Level 2: Medium
Level 2,5: Demanding
PRICES:
Price per tour: € 55,-
Tours include: Hiking poles, vegetarian sandwich, drinking water, hotel transfer and Hiking boots (under request).
PICKUP TIME:
Depending on your hotel, the pickup time will vary between 8:30 and 9:00. You will be informed about the exact pickup time at the moment you make your booking. We'll normally be back around 16:00 o'clock from our hikes.
